Azka Marzec moved from Poland to Tobermory on the Isle of Mull 18 years ago. Upon arriving in Scotland for the first time, Aska was inspired by the stunning beauty of the seawater and mountains together in harmony, and loved the unique light qualities and vivid colours. She sees it as a gift to be able to embrace and to be inspired by these elements of Scotland’s beauty. Aska creates contemporary Scottish landscape paintings and prints, including even printing her images on slick aluminium backing. She continues to pursue her love of painting through the medium of resin and mixed media, and has produced an ever expanding collection of resin art, from paintings to resin coasters and tables.
