2022 Round Up
As we come to the end of 2022 we look forward to a new year and all that it can bring with new and returning visitors to Island Blue Gallery!
We continue to develop our gallery space and once again it’s been a great feeling to receive so much positive feedback about the feeling in the Gallery from people that have came to visit us this year. Along with what we are aiming to portray in picture and book form and other creative aspects, one of the driving forces in the last couple of years for us has been to create a space that people can feel relaxed in and perhaps take in and absorb those moments that are always special in our lives. In 2023 we plan to bring in a fifth dimension to our gallery space with an additional room that will certainly have a very different feel to it. We will keep you posted as we develop this space and hope very much you will resonate with this new creative mix. We would love to take you with us on this journey to something that truly touches the soul.
Our Gallery team have proved yet again their passion for conveying our aims with the Gallery as we enter this new year and look forward to welcoming back our Spring visitors to Mull (including the swallows that grant us their annual presence under the Gallery eves!) I am sure this will be the case again with new paintings and books along with the new gallery space which is being taken forward in an inspirational way by Gallery manger Carla.
Our floral displays outside the gallery lovingly created by Mum each year are often a source of really positive comment and the colour is so eye catching and uplifting. In many ways it is such a positive aspect of our outside space and ties in with the many and varied book titles we have on mental and physical well-being to that can be found in what we endearingly call the book room of the Gallery.
We look forward to another year of our ever changing space. We hope you can visit us, and when this is not possible follow our website which has some of our favourite things for sale.
